PHOTO: POLITIA.RO16 MAY - ROADPOL is taking its fight to allowing automated vehicle data access to police authorities for the sake of comprehensible road crash investigations up to the highest authorities in the EU.

Together with the European Association for Accident Research and Analysis, EVU, and the global leader in vehicle inspection, DEKRA, the European Roads Policing Network is urgently calling on the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, to act on specific legislation in the field of the automated vehicles of the future.

The German state of Rhineland-Palatinate is to become the first in the country to introduce the Monocam devices against driver distraction.

Estonia4 MAY - More than 150,000 speed violations were registered during ROADPOL's unique 24-hour Speed Marathon operation throughout Europe.

The enforcement action was held on April 21st as part of ROADPOL Operation Speed, which was conducted in the week of 17-23 April with 29 European Roads Policing Network member countries participating.
