14 APR - No monopoly for manufacturers on in-vehicle data of autonomous vehicles.

The stance was once again reiterated by ROADPOL President Volker Orben at the latest World Police Summit. Mr. Orben was a keynote speaker at the event held in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates in March.

This was achieved at the 14th Road Safety Conference of the European Association of Operators of Toll Road Infrastructures (ASECAP) held at Madona di Campiglio 3-5 April.

In A Historic Memorandum

11 APR - ROADPOL and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) signed a historic memorandum vowing to intensify their future cooperation.

The signing ceremony took place within the World Police Summit in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates in the end of March. The memorandum was signed by ROADPOL President Volker Orben of the Police of the German state or Rhineland-Palatinate and IACP President Dwight Henninger, Chief of Police of Vail, Colorado, USA.

ROADPOL Trains 43 At Tachograph

Fraud & Manipulation Masterclass

Most member states sent to the Masterclass two police officers each.11 APR - 43 police officers from all across Europe were trained at a ROADPOL Tachograph Fraud & Manipulation Masterclass.

The educational event was held in Cremona (22-25 March). It was funded by the European Commission under the project STRIDER II and it was logistically organized by the Italian State Police.
