First Slovakian Road Police Competition

 

IMG 0977ROADPOL President Elvira Zsinkai granting trophies after the competition. PHOTOS: MINV.SK8 NOV - ROADPOL President Elviza Zsinkai was the chairman of the jury of the first Road Police Competition in the history of Slovakian Police.

For the first time the Traffic Police Department of the Presidium of Slovakian Police together with the Secondary Vocational Police School in Pezinok organized an international competition of traffic police officers called „Trafficpol Race 2023“.

In addition to Slovak police officers, traffic policemen from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Austria also took part in the competition. Domestic and foreign police officers measured their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in three categories - traffic sign knowledge test, shooting test and driving contest. Mrs. Zsinkai took part in jurrying winners in different categories and granted trophies in the subsequent award ceremony.

ROADPOL President was in Slovakia for the event of the formal accession of the country to ROADPOL. Slovakia announced its decision to join the European Roads Policing Network earlier this year for which we informed you in previous newsletters. Now the ROADPOL Constitution was formally signed by Slovakia Road Police Chief Mr. Tomas Vrabel and the papers officially handed to Mrs. Zsinkai at a ceremony against the backdrop of the police contest.
