SEP 29 - 12 European countries registered ZERO road fatalities at the control day of the 2022 ROADPOL Safety Days campaign.
The news came after final completion of data received from 28 ROADPOL member countries of which 23 took active part in the European Roads Policing Network's flagship annual campaign. It was carried out in the week of 16-22 September with the goal of achieving the ZERO for at least one single day. The results were announced at an international press conference in Madrid, Spain, hosted by ROADPOL member, Spain's Guardia Civil.

14 SEP - General Florence Guillaume of the French National Gendarmerie was appointed interministerial delegate for road safety.
She has already been seconded to the Prime minister’s Cabinet. She will lead the directorate in charge of establishing and implementing the road safety policy of the government with a view to reducing the number of road crashes.
14 SEP - The police in Finland will conduct a nationwide monitoring operation on 16-22 September 2022 on the use of seat belts and protective helmets as well as inattentiveness in traffic.
The operation will coincide with ROADPOL's Safety Days flagship annual operation.
