The December 2023

ROADPOL Newsletter

Dear followers,

we are seeing off a successful 2023 with fresh results from our latest Truck & Bus control action. Take a look at the trends in road safety behavior of drivers and companies within the sphere of transport of goods and passengers.

Further on, you can read more about our latest ROADPOL police educational seminar, held in Spain – a great venue with even greater presenters and attendees from all over Europe.

Another interesting topic – EU is moving forwards to a single digital drivers licence and stricter trans-border rules assuring end of impunity to road offenders.

Keep on reading to find out interesting developments about a proposed implementation of a speed limit on the motorways of Germany. Yes, there still isn't one there.

Last not least, take a look at the new powerful additions to the fleet of the police in Italy.

With wishes of a peaceful Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Yours Sincerely,

Sanja Veic

ROADPOL General Secretary
