Truck speeding continues to be a chronic problem, results of ROADPOL Truck&Bus Operation show.

The campaign, carried out from the 10th till the 16th of May, focused on the control of commercial goods and passenger transport. During the operation 187.308 trucks and 43.389 buses were checked in as much as 18 ROADPOL member countries. 36.538 violations were found (trucks: 33.400, buses: 3.138).

Six reputable presenters from a wide range of fields concerning road safety will attend the 2021 ROADPOL Seminar, the confirmed program shows.

This year's seminar will be dedicated to New Enforcement Technologies and will be hosted by the German Police University in Muenster in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Read more

Use When Crossing

 

Poland prohibited pedestrians from using a phone when crossing.

This comes as a result of changes to the Traffic regulation scheduled to come into force on the 1st June 2021. The changes also grant full priority to crossing pedestrians. Read more
