19 APR - Bulgaria is combating road crashes through a traffic light reform.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Transport, along with Regional Development and Public Works, have drafted a new ordinance to bolster road safety through traffic light enhancements.

Called FITDRIVE, the project, led by the ITCL Technology Centre in Spain, is building technology integrated into the car’s software that will send customised alerts to drivers when they should pay more attention to the road or even take a break.
