ROADPOL and ETSC Setting Up Free

Events On Road Safety Enforcement

 

Eesti politseiPHOTO: POLITSEI.EE25 FEB - ROADPOL and the European Transport Safety Council (ETSC) are teaming up to organize two complementary online events on road safety enforcement.

The events are scheduled to be run on the 16th of March.

The first one is set up by ETSC, a Brussels-based independent non-profit organisation dedicated to reducing the numbers of deaths and injuries in transport in Europe and a stern supporter and partner of ROADPOL.

Focus

The event concentrares on How traffic law enforcement can contribute to safer roads and will last between 10.00-12.30 CET. The event will focus on speed enforcement, distraction, the non-wearing of seatbelts and cross-border enforcement. ETSC will present its latest PIN report on enforcement. There will also be presentations from the European Commission, the Netherlands (tbc), Spain (tbc), Poland and ROADPOL. A draft agenda can be found here.

Workshop

The second event is the ROADPOL Workshop on Enforcement, 14.00-16.00 CET. This workshop will include the following presentations:
