ROADPOL offers support on fatal crash investigation to his member bulgaria

On Sunday, April 19th a fatal crash occured in the City Center of Sofia, BG. A famous and popular Journalist was killed: while he was waiting in his car at a red light he was hit by another car coming from behind.

At a first impression the perpetrator drove much too fast. The accident evoked high public interest.

After ROADPOL got in touch with the representative of Bulgaria it was stated, that the specialists investigating the accident are not equipped with devices to capture electronic data as digital evidence from the car, which would precisely confess the speed driven in the moment of the crash and some seconds before.

It was decided to offer support for capturing this data via ROADPOL. The car is still seized and it is intended to bring the bulgarian investigators together with an accident investigation team from Germany which is equipped with a crash data retrieval, as soon as it is possible to travel again.
