The new communication tool to unite and strengthen the campaign's social media presence was presented at the campaign kick-off event carried out at the Bulgarian Police headquarters in Sofia. The venue was attended by ROADPOL's General Secretary Sanja Veic and Chief of Operations Marijke Eskes, Bulgarian Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Ivan Demerdzhiev, top Bulgarian police officials and the media. ROADPOL Nails 150,000 Speeders In 24 Hrs.




More than 150,000 speed violations were registered during ROADPOL's unique 24-hour Speed Marathon operation throughout Europe.

The enforcement action was held on April 21st as part of ROADPOL Operation Speed, which was conducted in the week of 17-23 April with 29 European Roads Policing Network member countries participating.

ROADPOL is taking its fight for automated vehicle data access to police authorities for the sake of road crash investigations up to the top of EU.

Together with prominent partners the European Roads Policing Network is urgently calling on the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, to act on specific legislation in the field of the automated vehicles of the future. Read more

ROADPOL Starred At South American Event

The European Roads Policing Network was represented at the event by Leandro Fuentes, ROADPOL Council and Operations Working Group member and Head of Operations for Traffic and Transportation Section at Spain's Guardia Civil. Read more

Germany To Introduce The Monocam

MONOcam inside the police vanAgainst Driver



ROADPOL initiated the introduction of high-tech anti-phone cameras to Germany.

The German state of Rhineland-Palatinate is to become the first in the country to introduce the Monocam devices against driver distraction. The success is coming after ROADPOL former President and current Executive Committee member Volker Orben, himself representative of the Police in Rhineland-Palatinate, presented the technology to the government and convinced them to consider the idea.
