This year is the fourth edition of the ROADPOL’s Safety Days.
The aim of the ROADPOL Safety Days is to draw attention to road safety in Europe and beyond and to reduce the number of traffic fatalities.
The one day we will count the traffic fatalities will be Wednesday 20 September 2023.
The ROADPOL Safety Days always take place at the same time as the European Commission's European Mobility Week from 16 to 22 September. What is it all about?Every day, an average of 70 people die on the roads in Europe. Based on Vision Zero, we want to reduce this number to zero on at least one day a year.That is why we are calling on all road users to rethink their behaviour on the roads.We want to show you how you can reduce the dangers in road traffic and increase your own safety, whether you are travelling by car, motorbike, bicycle, e-scooter or as a pedestrian.
