ROADPOL Operation SPEED

ROADPOL Operation SPEED is a coordinated pan-European enforcement action by Traffic Police Officers from each ROADPOL member country and takes place on Europe's roads twice a year in addition to the daily national Traffic Police enforcement activities to combat speeding.

The Operation in April includes the "SPEED MARATHON" at Friday 21st April 2023. This is a 24 hours speed control.

Many collisions take place in traffic every day. In many cases, the consequences are limited to material damage to the affected vehicles and the affected road users are sometimes very frightened. Unfortunately, there are still too many crashes in which road users are also injured or killed.
The causes of these collisions are very diverse. One of  the most common causes is SPEED.
