Seminar Dates Set

 

1280 960 max15 MAY - 2022 ROADPOL Seminar will be held on August 2-4 in Münster, Germany.

The dates and venue for the annual ROADPOL educational event were set at the latest European Roads Policing Network's Council meeting in Larnaca, Cyprus in the beginning of the month.

Host

The event will be hosted by the German Police University (DHPol) with the venue itself being the Best Western Premium Seehotel Krautkrämer in Münster-Hiltrup due to urgent renovation works at the university campus. Guests and lecturers will be expected to arrive on August 1st with departures planned for August 4th and 5th. The seminar is open for all 28 ROADPOL member states, each of which can send up to two seminar attendees, which need to be determined by mid-June. Seminar program is being prepared and expected to be set by end of May.

Goal

ROADPOL annual seminar is set to present the second pillar of ROADPOL's strategy to reduce road death and serious injury in Europe. The pillar represents its being a network of knowledge and education and a pan-European platform to exchange best roads policing practices and sharing experience in enhancing road safety across the continent. The other two pillars of ROADPOL are traffic laws enforcement and raising public awareness and engagement with the issue of road safety.
